Akari+Kumai ch. 7

Akari runs through the forest determined to find an Akatsuki member.
*Black cloak, red clouds...* She remembers. *But where should I start? There's a million places where they could be....*
She stops for a minute a listens the best she can to the forest.
*Just birds and wind blowing the leaves...* She sighs heavily.
"This is gonna be a long mission...." She walks slowly through the woods listening out for anything. She catches a small sound in the South-East. She jogs silently towards it, hearing it get louder.
"Oh yeah, about that, un. I ran out of chakra, so there's a chance she crash landed somewhere on her way here..." Deidara says shrugging.
"Go find her then. I'll catch up later..." Sasori shakes his head. *Idiot...*
Deidara rolls his eyes and goes to find whoever he was looking for. Sasori goes the opposite direction heading towards the base. Akari follows closely behind.
*Yes! I found him! Now I just gotta follow him....*
Sasori notices he's being followed and starts going the wrong way to the base. Akari follows of course. They get to a whole deserted area. Sasori turns around and faces Akari's area. Akari freezes and hides behind a tree.
"I guess going back is out of the question...." Sasori mumbles. "Guess I'll go help Deidara."
Akari readies a poisinous kunai and sighs.
Sasori hears this, "There she is..."
Akari burts out from behind her tree and tackles Sasori head on. He catches her foot remembering immediatly who she was. She growls and slashes at Sasori, who then throws her up into the air and takes 3 steps back. She hits the ground with a thump. Akari winces in pain at her arm. She gets up quickly and looks at Sasori(who was smirking) and glares fiercly.
"Hmph. Don't you remember me?" He teases.
"Why would I remember scum like you?" She hisses back. Sasori frowns.
"Its gotten worse....."
"What?!"
"No matter. You have no need to know." Sasori dashes off with Akari trailing close behind. He glances back and sees her ferious face. Akari lunges at him again, this time he grabs both her legs and holds her upside down.
"Your annoying now, how am I spose to get any work done with you following me around like some lost puppy..." Sasori shakes his head slowly and ties her to a tree(Right-side-up) and dashes off.
"YOU GET BACK HERE DAMNIT!!!" Akari yells, struggling to get free. "Wonder what would've happened if I followed the blonde..."
A small carrot-topped girl walks up to Akari.
"What're you doing?" She asks.
Akari rolls her eyes, "I got myself tied up and now I'm trying to get out..."
Akari takes her kunai out and starts cutting at the vines.
"Need help?"
"Yes."
The carrot-topped girl unties Akari and runs off. Akari yells defiantly and starts running full speed the way the red-head had went.
"Damnit! So close!" She curses jumping over a log and landing in a river. "Now I gotta find another!"
A loud laugh makes her stop and turn to a clearing filled with mud. An albino was halfway stuck in the mud and a guy with a mask laughing at him.
"Shut up, Kakuzu!"
"How'd you even get in this?" Kakuzu chuckles.
"I said shut up." The albino grimaces.
"Well then I guess you don't want my help..." Kakuzu shrugs and starts walking away.
"Wait! Kakuzu!" The albino's eye twitches.
Kakuzu glances at him.
*Red clouds....* Akari thinks smiling eagerly.
"Um.... sorry for before....." The albino looks up eagerly. "Help me?"
"I recall you saying earlier that you don't need my help."
"....."
"So be it." Kakuzu walks off.
"KAKUZU!!!! YOU ASSHOLE!!! GET BACK HERE AND HELP ME!!!" The albino yells sounding scared/angry. Akari walks up catiusoly making sure the other was gone. "Hey!" She calls for his attention. He gives her a curious look. "Looks like your a bit stuck?" She teases. The albino grunts and looks away.
"Need some help?"
The albino just nods. Akari grabs a vine and hides it behind her back. She grabs his arm and pulls.
"Ouch..... stupid red-head probaly broke my eyes..." Akari complains pulling harder. The albino looks up curious. He comes out some and he starts pulling himself out, helping some.
"Damn..... what kinda mud IS this?" Akari asks pulling harder. Hidan winces in pain and gets his leg out with a pop. Akari lets go and lets him get out the rest of the way. She tackles him and ties his arms together.
"Who the hell are you?!"
"A person." Akari gouges his mouth and starts dragging him off through the woods, back to the Leaf Village. "Idiot Akatsuki scum." She smirks. "Didn't anyone ever tell you not to talk to strangers?" Akari grabs him by his hair and looks him in the eye glaring. He rolls his eyes and mumbles something along the lines of, "You are SO dead."
Akari drops him disgusted and starts dragging him again.
~~~(1 hour)~~~
"We're just 1 hour away from Leaf Village and your capture..." Akari smirks and leans back on a tree. The albino glares at her intensly and gets on his knees.
"Don't even try anything." Akari glares. The albino rolls his eyes and gets up. Akari watches him closely. He sits back down and leans on a tree across from her. The albino starts mumbling something making Akari curious. She crawls over to him and takes the mouth gouge off of him. The albino(now known as Hidan) bites her cheek roughly and dosen't let go. Akari winces and gives a small whimper of pain as her cheek starts bleeding. She hits Hidans head rather hard until he lets go, leaving her a bloody cheek with his teeth marks in it. Hidan smirks as she moves away quickly.
"Yeah. Your definantly her." He nods.
"Yeesh, you animal. Why'd you do that? Luckily, your teeth aren't as sharp as Kumai-chans...." Akari mumbles.
"I'm not an animal!" Hidan teases.
"Yes you are. You just bit me outta nowhere!"
Hidan chuckles and starts working on untieing his hands and feet. His hands were easy to get free from how weak the vine was. The feet were harder because of the strength of the vine. He eventually get free. Though as he does, the sun starts setting.
"Damn, the suns setting already.... well, it was sorta nice being with ya, but I gotta go!" Hidan starts walking off. Akari grabs his arm.
"NO!" Akari pulls him to the direction of the leaf village quickly.
"Instead of bringing me to your little village, why not tell me what you want?" Hidan pauses.
"Um.... I'm spose to figure out where your base is."
"Here's a hint: it changes constantly from village to village. A cave. Check em' all!" Hidan disappears with a poof.
"Well..... That's something, this mission is over...."
~~~~(Top of the mountian)~~~~
"It's about time you got your demon to come up on command. That's something we gotta work on, un." Deidara hops down and does a few handsigns.
"I got it didn't I? ....It took some negotiating though, so watch out for a second voice."
"It still took you forever!" Deidara rolls his eyes. "Demon leash!"
A chakra rope wraps around Kumai's and her demons neck.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" Kumai's demon, Tsuki, yells and starts trying to run off.
*Tsuki! Sit! Now! We're training!!* Kumai thinks quickly. Tsuki huffs and sits down, bringing Kumai down with him.
"Ironic that I'm a girl with a BOY demon dog..." She shakes her head and comes closer to Deidara to stop the chakra leash from tightening more.
"Now what?"
"Now..... Sasori-no-dana, what took you so long?" Deidara asks turning around.
"Got side-tracked. Was being followed by "some girl"." Sasori does qoutes on the words some girl.
"Hi Sasori!" Tsuki and Kumai say at the same time, one voice normal, the other scratchy and a bit warped.
"Is this really how far you got?"
"Yeah, she just now got her demon to take form, un."
Sasori nods and jumps onto a rock. He does 6 quick handsigns, though nothing appears for a moment.
"What am I spose to do next?!" Kumai yells annoyed, mentally hushing her demons ranting.
"Oh yeah. Start trying to fight without going out of control. Once you master that, Leader will show you more." Sasori answers smirking. Deidara does 3 handsigns and hundreds of him appear. He sits down next to Sasori to watch.
"Ready, hmm?!" Deidara turns to look at him. Sasori nods and turns to Kumai.
"You can start now!"
Kumai does a quick nod and starts destroying Deidara's anywhere.
(*Tsuki(demon): Are you SURE you don't need anymore power?
Kumai: Yeah I'm sure! This. Is. A. Training. Exercise! Using. Clones!
Tsuki: Yeesh, fine fine....
Kumai: Your not listening to a word I'm saying are you?*)
Kumai's fighting has a good start and she destroys more and more Deidara clones. She feels a tingle through her back, but keeps fighting. A purple liquid form of her forms out her back and starts randomly killing clones. Sasori attacks it with a speacil chakra spear jitsu. It disappears. Kumai pauses and looks up surprised.
"We have our memories with you too." Deidara smirks making more clones. Kumai goes back to fighting clones when something suddenly breaks through. Her demon form takes over more, Sasori quickly does a few more handsigns and a giant chakra shuriken comes at Kumai, suddenly stopping her demon form. She goes back to fighting ignoring what just happened.
"By the way Kumai, if your demon keeps repeatedly taking over..... you'll die..."
"I'LL WHAT?! YOUR HAVING ME DO TRAINING THAT COULD KILL ME?! WHAT THE HELL MAN! YOU COULD'VE WARNED ME!! Could've added that to our negotiation..."
(*Kumai: Tsuki.
Tsuki(demon): Yes?
Kumai: Stop taking over NOW.
Tsuki: What'll be in it for meee?
Kumai: You won't die and neither will I.
Tsuki: ...fine, one more time though?
Kumai: No!*)
Kumai's demon-side takes over even more. Tsuki still hadn't fully understood what the leash did and tried to run off again. The force of being pulled back makes him recede back into Kumai. She rubs her neck in pain.
"Shtoopid demon leash...." She grumbles, then goes back to destroying clones.
~~~~(The next day_10:00am)~~~~
Kumai had stopped training at about midnight when she felt she couldn't move anymore. She went demon about 6 times and eventually fell asleep by a large rock, and Deidara carried her to a near-by base. He set her on a flat rock to finish her rest.
"Not working out so much, un..." He sighs sitting on another rock thinking of a way to make her training easier. "What's her most favorite thing in the world, un? Something she can't resist? Hmm....."
"Dango?" Itachi walks into the cave.
"Yeah, thats it...." Deidara goes deep into thought forgetting about Itachi. "Now how do I succesfully motivate her with dango..."
"You could always offer her a hot spring/dango trip with a friend of her choice." Itachi answers blankly not noticing who he was talking too.
"Yes! Deidara, your a genius!" Deidara runs out the cave. "Hey Itachi, watch Kumai for me will ya?"
Itachi sighs and glances at Kumai.
"As always, I'm the last stuck with her..."
He jumps onto a high rock and leans on the cool cave wall. "Wonder how her trainings going?"
Kumai turns over and falls to the ground.
"Oww....." She groans and turns back over in her sleep. A lone man walks into the cave and mumbles into his communicater.
"You sure this is where you saw her. . . oh yes, there she is." He walks over to Kumai's sleeping body and bends over to pick it up, when Itachi jumps behind him and holds a kunai to his neck. The guy flinches, "D...Damnit...."
"Put. Her. Down." Itachi hisses. The guy does so and stands up straight.
"Tch.... I'm in a bit of trouble.... seems she's being watched over by...." They cranes his neck to see who it is. "Uchi-"
Itachi kills the guy in a split second and grabs the communicator from off his head.
"Hello? Heeellllooo?" A voice says.
"I'm hear, what do you want?"
"Did you get the girl!?" An exhasperated voice asks.
".....yeah, but why do you want it?"
"Because shes got great power! She's only partly owned, so ANYONE can have her!"
Itachi growls and crushes the device in his hand.
"Partly-owned my ass." He throws it to the side and slings Kumai over his back. "She's FULLY owned, just being.... borrowed at the time.... yeah that's the word: borrowed. No one else can HAVE her. She chose to come here to us." Itachi grumbles taking Kumai out the cave when he notices a small clay bird by the entrance. He kneels by it and notices it's one of Deidara's creations.
"But why is Kumai's name carved in it?" Itachi sees a note, he picks it up and reads it.
*I can't believe your making me write directions for this.... anyways:
Step 1: Do the handsigns I showed you and it will immediatly grow bigger.
Step 2: Get on it and focus your chakra into it.
Step 3: Steer quickly, or you'll fall.... Hope you do.* It read. Itachi glances at the bird again and sets the card back down noticing Kumai was waking up. He sets her on the ground and stands back.
"Deidara..... Deidara!!" She mumbles half-asleep.
"He's not here anymore." Itachi nudges her with his foot.
"Oh.... hey Itachi...." She slowly wakes up. She yawns and stretches for a good minute before focusing back on reality.
"Why's it so cold out here..."
She stands up, but her overly pained leg gives out making her fall into Itachi. She clings to him for a minute trying to wake up more. Dosen't work.
"Mmm.... so soft..... warm...." She doses off holding on tightly to Itachi. He stands there for a minute thinking of a way to move her without dropping her, she was a lot heavy now then she was 4 years ago. Itachi moves slightly and she holds on tighter falling forward some. Itachi grabs her waist and lifts her up onto his hips and balances her there.
"Fat ass..... she definatly gained a good 30 pounds." He carries her to the near-by waterfall and lets her go hoping she had broken her habit of clinging to things in her sleep. No such luck. She hugs him tighter and starts snoring slightly.
"I can't believe how much this girl sleeps." Kisame says walking up. "And why're you carrying her like that?"
"Like what?" Itachi says trying to hide his feelings again.
"Like a mom would carry her toddler." Kisame shrugs. Itachi hisses.
"Sorry, bad example, but still."
"She woke up halfway, stood up, tried to walk, fell on me and held on tight. Decieded to carry her like this... no more questions."
Kisame gets the hint, "Ok, ok. But-"
"I said no more questions."
"I was just gonna ask why your still holding her." Kisame smirks.
"...." Itachi shifts his and her weight. "She won't let go..."
Kisame chuckles and walks off into the woods.
"God damnit, let go already..." Itachi huffs and sits on a rock to wait until she woke up. She moves a little and starts purring. Itachi starts to pull Kumai off of him, but she just wakes up.... halfway...
"Mmm.... roses...."
"This is what happens when I hide in a rose garden for undercover missions..." He rolls his eyes.
"Rrrrr.... yummy..... Itachi..."
Itachi's eye twitches at being called yummy and being refered to as food in her category.
"Wake UP, Kumai." Itachi shakes her roughly. "Now, before I break your arm again!"
Kumai mumbles more nonsense, so Itachi shakes her rougher until she wakes up.
"W-What? Weasel-chan stop shaking me-e-e!!" Kumai holds onto his waist to stop the shaking. He stops and she lets go falling to the ground.
"Damnit, my leg hurts... I do wonder why?" Kumai rubs her sore leg and looks around. "Why're we at a waterfall?"
"Because you wouldn't let go of me yet again, so I came here because I had nothing else to do."
"Mmm..... where's Deidara? I wanna try more training...." Kumai tries to get up and walk, but her leg hurts to much. "Yeouch... stupid leg..."
"If its so stupid, why do you have it?" Itachi teases.
"Nyaa." Kumai sits on his lap out of a bad habit(And there was nowhere else to sit).
"Why do you keep coming to me?" Itachi asks annoyed. Kumai thinking he was mad gets up quickly ánd sits on the ground next to him. "What do you mean?"
"Whenever your near me-awake or not- your either sitting on me, hanging on me, laying on me, and so on. Why?"
"I guess its just a habit....you hate it? Or just find it annoying?" Kumai teases.
"Annoying at times..." Itachi looks away.
"Aah, you know you love me." Kumai starts crawling off to the waterfall and starts massaging her leg to make the pain subside.
"Did I sprain my leg or something?" She wonders as Deidara comes out the forest and sits next to her.
"What happened to your leg, un?"
"Don't know, just woke up with it hurting."
"Lemme see."
"Noooo!" She whines not wanting any help. Deidara smirks and reaches for her leg.
"NUUUUU!!!!" She crawls away quickly. "GET AWAY YOU ABOSIVE BITCH!"
"C'mon. I've delt with your wounds plenty of times before, Un. From a sprained bone to attacked by a porcipine."
"Yeah, well the way you deal with wounds hurt like hell."
"Well you ARE the only girl that actually liked being around us. And you needed to learn how to be tough.... also, I got stuck with that job and I'm still working on it."
Kumai crawls farther away, "Stay AWAY Deidara. I'm serious."
He just laughs and snaps a vine off a random tree, "It's impossible to take you serious when your acting like a 7 year-old."
"I thought the term was 5-year old?"
"Yeah, well now your like 10, un."
"11, smarty."
Deidara walks over to her and quickly ties the rope around her wrists, then drags her to a tree. He ties the other end of the vine to the tree and flips Kumai over on her stomach and sits on her back.
"Get off me Deidara!! Stay away from my leg!!" Kumai yells kicking her feet. He holds one leg down and traces the side of it with his finger.
"Not this leg." He does the other one until Kumai jerks her leg away in pain. "So this one, huh?"
"Maybe..." Kumai grumbles waving her tail. Deidara leans on the hurt spot on the leg. Kumai winces and groans.
"Guess what, its opposite day, un! Do you like this?"
"No!"
"Then you'll LOVE this!"
"Wha!?"
Deidara sits on her leg and puts all his weight on it.
"DAMN YOU BLONDE!!!! THAT HURTS!! GET OFF YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!" Kumai yells followed by a scream of pain.
"You really shouldn't yell at the person controling the fate of your leg, un."
"You wouldn't."
"I would." He proves this by punching the hurt spot extremly hard. Kumai yells "ow" 3 times.
"DAMNIT, YOUR LIKE HIDAN!!! I THOUGHT HE WAS THE ONLY SADISTIC ONE HERE!!!"
"Yeesh, your comparing me to that mental Asylum escapee? You have a big mouth." Deidara punches her leg again.
"RRRR......"
Itachi leaves not wanting to get involved with this as Deidara chuckles darkly at her.
"OWWWW!!!! GET YOUR FAT ASS OFF ME BEFORE YOU BREAK MY LEG!!!"
"It won't break unless I actually try(which I will if needed) it'll just leave a bruise." Deidara shrugs.
"LIES! SON OF A BITCH! Actually: Daughter of a bitch cause your such a girl!!" Kumai yells defiantly. Deidara glares at her.
"Now get your ass up offa me, girl!"
Deidara smacks her upside the head.
"One more word-"
"Your a barbie girl! In a barbie world! Your flat chest is plastic, that's sorta fantastic! We can brush your hair, undress you everywhe-e-ere! Imagination! Sex is my creation!" Kumai sings loudly. Deidara gets up and takes a few steps back.
"Dei....Deidara....? What're you-"
Deidara runs up and jumps onto her leg. She screams out in extreme pain and starts moving around to get him off.
"OWWW!!!! DEIDARA-OW- GET OFFA ME!!! OW!!" Kumai yells.
"Take it back."
"Take WHAT back?!"
"Take back that I look like a girl."
"I'm not taking back what's true!"
"Then shut the fuck up!" Deidara stomps on her leg. "And stop being such a baby!"
"You try having someone 2 times bigger than you standing on your already hurt leg for no abesolute reason!"
"I do have a reason, un! I'm fixing your leg."
"Yeah right, and I'm Best friends with a potato."
"Keep your sarcasm to yourself." He pouts. "But scream all you like."
He jumps up and down 4 times on her leg.
She screams louder on the brink of tears. She dosen't cry because she knows from experience it makes it worse. . . FOR HER.
Sasori walks into the clearing hearing all the yelling that was going on.
"Deidara. . . what're you doing to her?"
"I'm fixing her LEG. Duh."
"Well it looks like your just finding a reason to torture her again."
Deidara grunts and bounces on her leg.
"Get off of her.... I'm sure you could find something twice as entertaining and less painful to do with her."
"I'll stop if.." Deidara smirks at Sasori. "you admit my art is better."
"Hell no."
"Then NO."
"Like I'd ever say your art is better, you must know it sucks cause you need to force people to like your art!" Sasori sits on a rock.
"Kumai?"
"I'm not answering that right now."
"Fine."
Deidara argues with Sasori for a good 5 minutes before Kumai cuts in.
"Have I been forgotten here?"
"Yes, un." He turns to Sasori and stomps his foot down. "My art is WAY better than yours!"
"Aaaahhhhhh-hah-hah-hahhhhhh!!!!" Her eyes water some.
"Is that crying I hear?" Deidara teases. "I think that Konoha place weakened you some. You used to be able to go awhile without crying."
"I-I'm not crying!"
"It sure does sound like your crying, un."
"Well I'm N-N-NOT!!"
"Your voice is cracking."
"I'M-M NOT C-CRYING!!!"
"You so are."
"Am not!!"
"Right." He rolls his eyes and starts bouncing roughly on her leg.
"Owww!!!!" She yells. "Deidara!"
At this point, Itachi comes back and takes in the scene.
"Wow.... she's an abused little girl..." He smirks and walks over to Sasori to watch.
"Deidara, if you get off my leg right now I'll um.... do anything else you want!"
Deidara steps off, "Anything?"
"....yes...?" She answers unsurely now.
"Ok then."
Kumai starts pulling on the vine until it breaks. She falls face first into a puddle. She gets up quickly, "Shut up."
"Hows the leg?" Deidara teases.
"It's..... not hurting....."
"Yeah, what I just did was a weird way to fix your sprains and bruises easier. Can't believe you didn't remember it!" Deidara shakes his head. "Well, time for you too hold up your side of the deal."
"Like hell I am." She shakes her head no.
"Remember: your still in torturing distance." Deidara says annoyed. Kumai flinches and comes back over.
"Fine, what do you want?"
"You have to be my slave for the rest of the day. Everytime you complain, another hour is added."
"What?! ......Fine...." Kumai grumbles.
"Ok, first thing, Stop glaring so much, your becoming to look like Itachi."
"How do I look like Itachi when I'm not a boy with a girlish body?" Kumai jokes. Deidara giggles, "Nice one."
Kumai laughs softly.
"Now, we're gonna go fishing!" Deidara grabs Kumai's arm and pulls her into the woods.
~~~~(Leaf Village)~~~~
"Tsunade-sama?"
"Yes Akari? Did you get the information?"
"Well, the best I could get was that there base is always changing and there spread out in different village caves. More likely to be near the village and not in it." Akari bows slightly.
"That's actually pretty good for a rookie like you..." Tsunade makes a mental note to use Akari for more stealth missions. "Any sign of Kumai on the mission?"
"No."
Tsunade sighs, "Well, we'll see if we can use this information to our ability, thanks Akari you can leave now."
Akari does a small bow and leaves the room.
"I... am a horrible... older brother.." Kiba groans at the doorstep to his house. "I lost my younger sister..."
"Now don't take it out on yourself Kiba. She's Kumai, she'll be back in a few days knowing her." Hana assures.
"And what if she dosen't?"
"Then we'll send a search party out..." She sighs trying to calm her brother. He nods.
"Now come in the house, it's cold out here."
Kiba goes in the house half-concious.
